Just addding a quick blog entry because there never seems enough time in the day to write about all the things I'd like to.

Busy finalising summer designs and incredibly am now starting to think about Autumn/Winter 2010!

 

The guys at Yarn Forward are launching a brand new UK crochet magazine this March which is exciting news. I am a big fan of crochet and think it gets a real bad press with an undeserved rep for Grannyism (if that's a real word!). It has many merits- it's very organic and great for free forming and it's highly portable and you don't have to worry about dropped stitches either. Anyway, you've probably guessed I'll be submitting to Inside Crochet and hopefully you'll see my (non-granny) designs later on in the year.

 

Talking of Yarn Foward. I have just been finalising 2 womenswear handknit designs for the mag. They are Autumnal so look out for them late Summer/Fall time.

 

Am also designing a brand new Masterclass series for Knitting magazine which will follow on from the Learn to Knit one. It's going to be a bit more challenging with some fun techniques and small projects to try them all out on- so look out for that.
